About RRAP

Building better housing communities through education, advocacy, and professional collaboration since 2020.

We bring together housing providers to collectively address challenges and seize opportunities that would not be possible on an individual basis. A rental market where property owners provide Islanders with access to safe and appropriate housing options suitable to PEI’s diverse needs

Advocating for Balanced Policy

PEI is the most regulated rental market in Canada. Well-meaning policies can have unintended consequences that hurt both landlords and tenants, making it crucial for RRAP to continuously engage with politicians and government officials.

From legislative committees to Minister meetings, we ensure the voice of rental housing providers is heard.

Changing the Conversation

Too often, rental housing stories focus on the problems and actions of a few. We’re working to shift from conflict to collaboration, showing how landlords and tenants can succeed together through education.

We serve as the voice of rental housing providers with industry, media, the public and other stakeholders to ensure our industry’s issues are understood and recognized.

Our goal is to provide objective information that becomes part of the story.

Supporting Your Success

From first-time landlords to experienced property managers, we provide the education and tools you need to thrive. Because when our members succeed, their tenants benefit too.

Most PEI landlords are small business owners managing a few properties. You shouldn’t have to navigate complex regulations alone or reinvent the wheel for basic forms.

We create guides, resources, and host educational sessions that help you operate more professionally.

Additionally, we negotiate with suppliers to secure discounted pricing for our members on a variety of goods and services.
